Singapore Withholding Taxes

Singapore imposes withholding tax ("WHT") on payments to non-residents. The most common payments that attract Singapore WHT are interest (15%), services carried on Singapore (17%) and royalties (10%). There are late filing and payment penalties up to 20% of the WHT owed. The rates mentioned above can be reduced by applicable double tax agreements.
